Posting Guidelines

We want to provide great resources to our members without any fluff. Please note we don't accept:

• ads or marketing by members - otherwise with 6,000 members we’ll just be swamped in ads
• any form of content marketing - articles intended to draw people to your site or service
• how-to articles - there are already a million of these on the Internet
• motivational posts - enough already
• off-topic posts - please only posts on entrepreneurship resources, funding
• events, programmes, etc must be free or nominal cost (less than R200)
• only one post per item - please don’t submit repeat posts
• please do not use tags like @everyone, @followers or @highlight in posts or comments

Writing a Post?

If you have an existing Facebook post, and you're a member of the KoiGroup, then you can simply Share your post, choose Groups, and then choose the KoiGroup, to share it in the group

If you're writing a new post, here are some suggestions:

• have a look at other posts for ideas on layout
• put your topic at the top, using CAPS, maybe as a question, eg "Looking for FUNDING in the EASTERN CAPE?"
• make sure to have a good photo with the post, otherwise it will be nearly invisible
• make sure to specify date, place, price, deadline if applicable, link and contact details
